William J. Bose, MD is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 30 years of experience caring for patients with musculoskeletal injuries and Orthopaedic diseases.  He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is licensed to practice in Alabama and Louisiana.  His areas of expertise include disorders of the hip knee and shoulder, Total Joint Arthroplasty, Trauma, Sports Medicine and general Orthopaedics. 

He can provide careful review and insightful opinion from an Orthopaedic/Musculoskeletal perspective for complex medical legal litigation.  He also can provide Independent Medical Evaluations, including MMI ratings, PPI ratings and expected level of work activity.

He has served as a medical expert for over 25 years, carefully reviewing medical records and rendering opinions for both the defense and plaintiffs. He has been involved in cases regarding complications of total joint replacement surgery, trauma surgery, sports medicine surgery, surgical infections, failure to diagnose and properly treat Orthopaedic conditions, as well as Orthopaedic manufacturing litigation.  He has evaluated potential medical malpractice cases and personal injury cases.

Dr. Bose has a busy clinical practice in Orthopaedic Surgery, and treats patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.  He currently perform 7-10 surgeries per week.  

Dr. Bose enjoys the role of a Medical Expert Witness because the cases are interesting, intellectually stimulating, the work is challenging and because it can play an important role in a legal proceeding.
